Albertosaurus

Decided to do a pic of a dino that has been in my life for a long time. At the NM Natural History Museum there is a statue of this guy that has been there for as long as I can remember. I have countless photos of it starting from when I was a small child. Messed around with pattern ideas for a while. Originally he had a lot of spots but I didnt care for them to much. The landscape references came from photos I took several weeks ago on a camping trip. I actually really enjoyed painting a bit of a landscape for it. I shall have to try to do more.
